His Eyes is On The Sparrow

why should I feel discouraged
why should the shadows come
why should my heart feel lonely
and long for heaven and home

when jesus is my portion
a constant friend is he
his eye is on the sparrow
and I know he watches over me

his eye is on the sparrow
and i know he watches over me

I sing because I'm happy
I sing because I'm free
his eye is on the sparrow
and I know he watches me
his eye is on the sparrow
and I know he watches me
he watches me, I know,
he watches me.

Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will-Matthew 10:29

Most people have a hobby of sore sort to provide a healthy diversion from the rigors of work. Long ago, there was a woodworker in Nazareth who counted bird-watching among His diversions. We can make that assumption because Jesus later referred frequently to bird-life in His sermons, saying things like:
- "are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? and not one of them falls to the gground apart from your father's will" (matt 10:29).
- "Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?" (matt 6:26)
- Consider the ravens..." (Luke 12:26)
- "Do not fear...you are of more value than many sparrows" (Luke 12:7)

it was this theme that caused the author of "God will take care of you," to write, a year later, another great hymn on God's care: "His Eye is on the Sparrow."
Civilla Durfee Martin was a Canadian by birth, born on August 21, 1869, in Nova Scotia. She became a school and music teacher, but when she married Dr. Walter Martin, an Evangelist, she gave up teaching to travel with him and assist in his meetings.
This is her account of the writing of this song:
Early in the spring 1905, my husband and I were sojourning in Elmira, New York. We contracted a deep friendship for a couple by the name of Mr. and Mrs. Doolittle-true saints of God. Mrs. Doolittle had been bedridden for nigh twenty years. Her husband was an incurable cripple who had to propel himself to and from his business in a wheel chair. Despite their afflictions, they lived happy Christian lives, bringing inspiration and comfort to all who knew them. One day while we were visiting with the Doolittles, my husband commented on their bright hopefulness and asked them for the secret of it. Mrs. Doolittle's reply was simple: "His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me". The beauty of this simple expression of boundless faith gripped the hearts and fired the imagination of Dr.Martin and me. The hymn "His Eye is on the Sparrow" was the outcome of that experience.

The day after writing the song, she mailed it to the famous Gospel composer, Charles Gabriel, who penned the music.

Following God

Sometimes I felt why it is so difficult to follow Christ?
Do we have to go through suffering, misunderstanding, loneliness, in follow Him?
I think yah it is. If we watch carefully with many apostles in the bible, they go through these things. that's the reality to follow Christ.

when the decision was made, the test will come one by one.
When I made a decision to fully give my self to God, God give me a lot of things to go through.
How to deal with certain conflict, how to forgive, how to deal with congregation and deal with my self when the world misunderstanding, suspect, and jealous with me.

World is imperfect, so we are.
The unworthiness of who we are cannot compare to Him that are glory, mighty, above all else!
Whatever we have been through in following Christ, let Him be the wants who be proud and award us not this world.
And I belief every difficult and happy moment that we go through will bring glory to Christ!!
Main point from all suffering and difficulty that we faced that can make us stand still before God is the eyes that focus on to God :)

Still My Soul

Still my soul be still
And do not fear
Though winds of change may rage tomorrow
God is at your side
No longer dread
The fires of unexpected sorrow

God You are my God
And I will trust in You and not be shaken
Lord of peace renew
A steadfast spirit within me
To rest in You alone

Still my soul be still
Do not be moved
By lesser lights and fleeting shadows
Hold onto His ways
With shield of faith
Against temptations flaming arrows

Still my soul be still
Do not forsake
The Truth you learned in the beginning
Wait upon the Lord
And hope will rise
As stars appear when day is dimming

Pakailah Aku

Pakai, pakailah aku
S'bagai pelayanan kecilMu
namun aku masih terlalu kecil
Tuhan...pakai aku

Trima..trimalah aku...
S'bagai persembahan hidup
Namun aku masih terlalu kecil
Pakailah diriku sendiri

Reff:
Ingat...kan tekadku ini
Sampai ku besar nanti
ku mau serahkan hidupku
Kepadamu Yesus, Tuhanku

I love this song. I sung this song when I was in sunday school.
This song reminds me about my commitment in front of God.
Even though I am weak, and nothing I have besides heart to serve Him.
The sincere heart is the heart that God wants us to have.
Like a little child, even though they cannot do anything and limited, but they always have a sincere heart to do the best and make make their parents to happy through everything that they have done.

Yesuslah Jawabnya

Banyak pertanyaan ada dalam hatiku

Damai yg tak kau dapat dalam dunia ini

Jika masa lalu menghantui diriku

Satu hal ku tahu pasti, Yesus jawabnya.

Yesuslah jawaban bagi dunia

Dia mati buat kau dan saya, yesus jawabnya

Yesuslah jawaban bagi dunia

Dia mati buat kau dan aku, Yesus jawabnya

Too Great and Too Wide

I am thinking why "A" thing suppose to happen in my life?
Why God put me in "B" situation?
And why God choose me to be in "C" condition?

I believe most of us have ever asked those kind of question in your life.
I personally ever asked these questions to God in my confusion in the reality of life.
I am trying and trying to comprehend what God wants me to be? what is His bright and the hopeful purpose as He said in Isaiah?

But I am finally realize, I am too limited to comprehend His thought and purposes in my life, so I will never know exactly what it id until He who the first one reveals it to me.

Our God is too great and too wide to be comprehended by our mind and our soul.

In fact, we are human who fall in sin. We want everything make sense and God's answer supposes to be beneficial answers for us. We are selfish. Whether you realize it or not, even when we keep our faith to God is just because we hope we could get something more from Him.

The answers is so simple, and is just one answer; it's all about HIM. Why I say this? Because He is our creator, without Him we will never exist. He has already died in the cross just because of us who is sinned. could you pay for His salvation? Nope, you never and ever can pay it off. so do you think we have a right to ask God more for our selfish wishes such as I want an happiness so I have to married, I have to get in in "A" university, get a lot of money, etc?? we can ask that. it is a normal thing but you have to ask your self, what is it for. is it for the glory of God and effectiveness for His plan in our life, or just for your own happiness and satisfaction?

Nothing eternal in this life. Don't let this worldly things make you replace His place with other things. God can gives it to you easily if He wants it, but because He loves us so much, He knows what are the things that is good for us. Sometimes, the things that we think is good for us, it doesn't necessary good in God's measurement.

to come to this point, it takes time. I take for 4 years to come to this point. is not an easy process to go through but it help me a lot to see God as the only God I can depend on, I trust and I believe in. and I also finally understand what paul means by "Life is Christ, and Die is gain", and also Philipians 1:20-24.

Wish this could become a blessing for all of you.

Sweet17een

First of all, I am so thankful to God for His grace and blessing for these 17 years which make me can experience Him more deeply in my daily life. Day by day as I am getting older, I am yearning to have an intimate relationship with Him. For me, the greatest happiness that could not buy in this world is the intimate relationship with Him.
He teach me a lot of things that sometimes I couldn't understand what He was trying to say? but Finally I learn so much things, they are:
1. the only one you can depend on, you can trust, you can put you hope, is only God.
2. Bearing the cross is the act of our faith toward Him. It's not easy but He will give us a strength to go through the bearing cross. Sometimes, because of our selfishness we tend to query with Him power.
3. I learned the ultimate love and fulfillment that I only can get is through Jesus Christ.
4. Nothing can replace the truth of the Gospel
5. How to experience God in my life
6. If I think back again how He works in me and make me through a lot of things I have been through, I realize I couldn't pay His grace and blessing for the rest of my life.
7. And I know He loves me so much. No body can replace His love in my heart :)

Second, I want to thanks to God for my Parents who have already raised me up and encouragement, and I also want to thank you to my brother who support me and always care for me, and my sisters who always encourage me.

Third, I want to thanks for God that He send David for me. I learn what is true love that only come from the love of God through him. And also thank you for David because he always beside me in pray and thanks for the love that we have already committed before God. I love you :)

forth, all of you; who have already become part of my life for this 17 years.

on my birthday, I am feel so happy to see how much God loves me, and how He works in my life. Besides, I also got a TIRAMISUUU cake, several gift, and warm hug from ICC congregation with 158 greeting from all over the world :)

"Lisa"

In fact, I didn't like my name because I felt Lisa means nothing and I have ever asked my parent about why they gave me a name called "Lisa"? and they didn't give me a clear answer so I feel curious about my name hehehe...

This summer, I went to Superstore with Cik maria and we found out there is a book about name's meaning for female. And we open it up and I felt so proud with my name.
I found out, Lisa is originated from hebrew means "consecrated to God". Wowww I love this name so much. And I told Ps. Welliam about my name, He said "Yes, it is true, Your life is consecrated to God. we never know maybe God wants you to do one mission in this world so He called you as a minister to fulfill His plan so the other plan could works.Like elizabeth, eventhough she is not really mentioned in the bible but her existence is important in Jesus birth role."

It is true. I come to this world just to fulfill His plan. If I am done, He will ask me to meet Him face to face. That's the greatest thing that I am waiting and yearning for.

"his is in keeping with my own eager desire and persistent expectation and hope, that I shall not disgrace myself nor be put to shame in anything; but that with the utmost freedom of speech and unfailing courage, now as always heretofore, Christ (the Messiah) will be magnified and get glory and praise in this body of mine and be boldly exalted in my person, whether through (by) life or through (by) death. For me to live is Christ [His life in me], and to die is gain [the gain of the glory of eternity].If, however, it is to be life in the flesh and I am to live on here, that means fruitful service for me; so I can say nothing as to my personal preference [I cannot choose],But I am hard pressed between the two. My yearning desire is to depart (to be free of this world, to set forth) and be with Christ, for that is far, far better; But to remain in my body is more needful and essential for your sake.(Philippians 1:20-24)
